Origins of Woman Series - Goddess 1

This painting is the beginning of a new series of The Sacred Earth Feminine paintings, richly textured and deeply evocative of the Neolithic era which inspired the work. When I create these works, I feel that my hand is touching the hands of an artist and the woman whose portrait was being created,10,000 years ago, originally in clay. A circle of humanity is being completed, and I feel blessed to be part of it.
