Moth & Angel moves through a world of shadow, light, and veiled presence. A crescent moon, luminous circular forms, vessel-like shapes, and winged suggestions emerge through layered passages of violet, blue, gold, and soft white.

The painting suggests a threshold space between the earthly and the spiritual — part night garden, part dream, part inner landscape. Forms appear, dissolve, and reappear, inviting the viewer to linger in the mystery of what is seen and what is sensed beneath the surface.

In this visionary body of work, I welcome you into a world of diaphanous light, subtle transparency, and inner presence. These paintings suggest that there are many layers of being to explore — from ancient memory and symbolic consciousness to the ever-present realm that surrounds us, often unseen, yet sometimes revealed through stillness, attention, and imagination.

Created in oil and cold wax on wood panel, this work reflects my ongoing interest in transparency, emergence, and the quiet movement between darkness and illumination. Layered techniques allow form to arise from unseen depths, echoing the way meaning, memory, and spirit gradually reveal themselves.
