"Shelter" Mercy Series prints by Marilyn Wells

The Divine Feminine energy coming into flower, against the chaos of the overly aggressive male energy we all have experienced in this era.  I made this series of paintings as a response to the first Covid shut-down in March 2020. 

This is the 3rd of the series. Each of the 4 is a Mercy painting in oil.

Before these possessions you love

  slip away, say what

Mary said when she was

Surprised by Gabriel, I’ll hide inside God.

Naked in her room she saw a form

of beauty that could give her new life,

  like the sun

coming up, or a rose

opens, she leaped, as her habit was,

  out of herself

Into the divine presence.

Here was fire in the channel of her breath,

  light and

This is a Limited Edition Fine Art Print, numbered and signed, made from archival, museum quality giclée ink on hot press, acid-free 100% cotton rag media with a fine-tooth surface. Each will have an additional 1/4” white border to accommodate most framing needs, or which you can cut off if you wish. It is packaged in a crystal clear envelope with a sturdy back board for shipping and framing protection.

Each print will be hand signed on the back by the artist along with a stamp of authentication.

For all prints, expect 10 business days working time, as each is hand printed just before shipping, although usually less time is needed. Contact me for any other questions.
