The poem is written by Mary Oliver and so beautifully expresses the Zen sensitivity without her ever subscribing to the precepts of Zen.

On watercolor paper, mounted on a wood fiber veneer board, the black is very intense.

These paintings are each unique art works. Imperfections are to be expected and are the hallmark of original art and the artist's hand, true wabi sabi. Sizes of original paper painting may vary, each approximately 14” x 18” - mat size is 18” x 22”. Each comes with its own Certificate of Authentication, packaged in a clear sleeve.

If you select the Framed Option, the frame is a clean, modern, charcoal black finish, my personal choice, with a UV acrylic protective cover.
