Ascent to Origin is one of the central works from my Seeing Through exhibition. The painting rises through layers of blue, gold, violet, and translucent light, suggesting movement upward through threshold, memory, and spirit.

A luminous central form emerges from the depths, surrounded by passages of atmosphere, veil, and gesture. The work invites the viewer into a space where matter and spirit seem to meet — where the visible world opens into something larger, quieter, and more enduring.

In this body of work, I explore diaphanous light, subtle transparency, and inner presence. These paintings suggest that there are layers of being beyond ordinary sight — ancient, symbolic, and ever-present — revealed through stillness, attention, and imagination.

Created in oil and cold wax on wood panel, this painting reflects my ongoing interest in emergence, transparency, and the way form rises from unseen depths.
