What I love about this sumi e painting is that it looks hesitant, not predictable, as the course of love often is. One looses ones bearings and aplomb in the course of true love, and I feel this image shows that. It makes me smile because it's not as smooth and perfect in form as some of my other sumi e paintings. Painted from my heart and soul - not my linear way of thinking. Enjoy!

On watercolor paper, mounted on a wood fiber veneer board, the black is very intense.

These paintings are each unique art works. Imperfections are to be expected and are the hallmark of original art and the artist's hand, true wabi sabi. Sizes of original paper painting may vary, each approximately 14” x 18” - mat size is 18” x 22”. Each comes with its own Certificate of Authentication, packaged in a clear sleeve.

If you select the Framed Option, the frame is a clean, modern, charcoal black finish, my personal choice, with a UV acrylic protective cover.
